Connie meets Paul in a bookshop

Connie runs into her friends and they convince her have some coffee in a nearby cafe. They talk about body, infidelity and so on. They notice how Connie is still in a great shape and notice Paul in the cafe. Paul goes to the bathroom and Connie quietly follow him. They have sex in the bathroom.

After doing a grocery shopping errand, she drives over to Paul's home to tell him the news in person but spots him with another woman. She confronts him, and they later have an argument. She questions him about the number of women he is seeing. Paul, having no care for Connie’s frustration, arrogantly contradicts himself. He claims the other woman is just a friend and nothing more. However, Connie sees through the lie. She mentions that their affair is over and tells him she hates him. Connie angrily storms out of his apartment, but Paul unexpectedly catches up and forces himself on her. She tries to fight him off and pleads with him to stop. However, realising she is still attracted to Paul, Connie forgives him. At this point, Connie weakens his advances and Paul successfully wins her over. They then makeup with each other and have passionate sex in the hallway.
